The Aliquoting Technician handles the most volume-sensitive work we do. You’ll dispense reagents, buffers, controls, and client-supplied materials into vials, tubes, and cartridges to exacting specifications – often in the microliter range, often on materials that are expensive, limited in supply, or time-sensitive.
You’ll work with manual and semi-automated liquid handling equipment, verify calibration before each run, and document volumes, lot assignments, and environmental conditions as you go. Because many of these materials are temperature-sensitive, you’ll manage staging, cold storage, and transfer timing so nothing sits outside its validated range.
This role sits at the intersection of laboratory technique and production discipline. You’ll be running batches, not one-off experiments – but the pipetting standard is a lab standard, and it doesn’t relax because the count is high.
Candidates should bring genuine hands-on liquid handling experience and the patience for precise, repetitive technique. Comfort with aseptic practice and an understanding of why cold chain matters are both essential. If you’ve worked a clinical or research bench and want production-scale work in a structured environment, this is a strong fit.
